The sun sets on another day...
I was watching people today, and I was freezing and signing books, and laughing, and enjoying every moment I can.
At one point during the day I saw someone being more than a little belligerent. I watched more than I listened, mostly to be certain people were safe, but the things I heard were disparaging, and as I listened to both sides, one side felt right, and the other was a driven by something else.
I learned a long time ago that giving in to anger is a dangerous game. I also learned that giving in to ignorance is even more dangerous. In what I heard a person was being self righteous about a situation that they were not involved in, and in doing so, they made themselves look poor. Worse, the person was being antagonistic to do something. I think it was to just get people angry. It was over quickly, then I watched and felt a little more frustrated than anything. After all, no one really won but the frustration caused was significant.
Who cares, right? Well, I do, from the point of view that sometimes you have to ask why. Why say something when you don't know? Why get involved if you are not informed?
Yes, this is more of a rant than anything, but as I watch the sunset, asking why is not as good as seeing the sunset, and feeling the edge of night come upon us. (Not the Soap) Sometimes isn't it better to just enjoy the moment? Sometimes if you feel like you have to say something, maybe you should consider if you really do?
Ha, funny huh? Me saying be quiet. I would be quiet a lot.
So as the sun sets on another day, why not make people happy. Why not find a way to make everyone see how good the world can be, and fight for more each day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, be at peace, and laugh the night away...
