The sun sets on another day...
I often enjoy sunsets because, well, because they're sunsets. I enjoy sunrises the same but each has their own appeal and each makes me smile a different way.
At the rising of the sun each morning we set out for a new day and prepare to conquer all of the things that we have no idea we will face. Of course since there are twenty-nine thousand sunsets in our life there are also 29000 sunrises and we could easily note that each day as we prepare we know that this will be the day we make a difference. This aligns perfectly with the idea of 29000 sunsets. Maybe even more. If we knew that we were on the sunrise of the 29,000th would we live this day differently? Then why are we living it differently right this moment? This question is haunting too many don't you think? When we get up in the morning shouldn't we prepare for the best possible day that we can have? Isn't it time to set aside are negativities and set aside our potential issues and instead make today our day?
I am reminded of a song that I sang in church when I was younger it stated that this is the day and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Maybe we need to rejoice and be glad in every day that we have gotten up and face the new sunrise. Sure by the end of this day we have may have faced a hundred hundred issues and given even more resolutions but can't we do that with raw attitude? Can't we step Up and make sure that the world knows we are a formidable force for positivity?
I know, this has been a lot of questions and not as many answers. I know that I'm not giving some amazing advice, or maybe I am. Each morning I get up and step up face a dozen issues before I have even started moving. Today I find myself coming up with a solution and making my start of the day a positive one. Yes, I sing in the shower. Yes, I turn off the news and the depressing issues once I have seen them once. Yes, I stretch and work myself so that I am limber enough to face another day. Yes, I breathe in and truly believe the today will be an amazing day.
In my opinion that's all it takes. All it takes to have a good day is to decide that today is going to be a good day and that nothing that comes forward no matter how horrible will take this day away from us. I am again reminded of a favorite scene in a comic book where a character is not to the ground and as he gets back up states with conviction " knock me down a hundred times and I will get up the hundred and first as strong and as fresh as ever oh, you are going to lose close quote. Isn't that what we need to do? In my opinion we need to squeeze every moment out of life and stop looking for reasons not to live. We owe it to ourselves. We owe it to others. And we owe it to the world to be the best possible person we can be everyday.
So as the sun sets on another day, I feel good about the day. I felt good as I saw the sun rise and I felt good as I saw the sun set. Both gave me pause and showed me the Fantastic options I had for the day. Weather sunrise or sunset I will get up the hundred first and I will win, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and get up...
