The sun sets on another day…
Monday's sunset was masked by clouds and taken away faster than I wanted it to be. Still, it was a sunset and it was to be enjoyed.
I often laugh at the utter fascination people have with Mondays. Obviously it's the start of a new work week and many people loathe their jobs. Still many people are very happy in their jobs and many of those push Monday’s away and avoid living during the week.
My thought for your day is if you're not enjoying every day you're wasting a lot of your life. What I mean by that is if you're wishing for the weekend or the vacation or something else and not paying attention to all the things you can do daily then you are wasting time. I hate to be talking about Lamborghini but I hear they were asked once why they did not have commercials on television. Their answer was simple: the people who buy Lamborghinis aren't sitting around watching television.
I can take it a little further and say if you're really living life should you be sitting around watching television? Aren't there more fun things to do? Wouldn't you rather be doing something a whole lot more fun? I apply this to a lot of things but in relationships with children or with family members wouldn't it be more exciting to be interacting then staring at a screen together being programmed by something else? Sure it's an escape or even something you wanted to learn but isn't the person or people in your life more important than that?
Something to consider at least.
So as the sun sets on another day time to get out a deck of cards and play some pinochle. Turn off the TV and set aside social media and just enjoy the people around you. it could be a lot of fun if you let it be.
Sleep sweet, love life, and was that a giggle…
