The sun sets on another day...

Wow!

During the summer it is so consistently stunning to wake early and see the sun rise, and wait until nearly 9 at night to watch it set. Barely 8 hours of darkness each night make the world a special place. Now the tides have shifted, well, the world has pivoted, and it seems like the darkness has come home for a while.

I want to say though, that it is not a big deal. Even if it is darker longer there is no doubt that the world is full of light. Even if the world seems to be gloomy, there is never a time that we cannot make each other feel bright and happy. Even as the darkness falls, we can easily shine a light on ourselves to be luminous.'

Funny huh? Not haha, but strange.

We are resilient people, you are a resilient person, and even in the darkest night, you can shine. Well, maybe not like a glowworm, but you can shine with a light that makes you see something bigger in the world, and maybe that something is you.

So as the sun sets on another day, take a minute. Pay attention to yourself. Realize the light you bring to other people and be part of that light. Skip those negative feelings, those negative thoughts, and those negative days and instead shine, make the world shine, and in the process find a way towards a happier day, maybe a happier week, and then a happier life.

Sleep sweet, shine bright, and love to the moon and back, and the stars beyond...
