The sun sets on another day...

A quick picture and tomorrow a long bit of words.

Sleep sweet, love life, to the moon and back and the stars beyond...

The sun sets on another day...

I would like to think we are on the right track. (It's ok, you can groan a little) There are so many positives we can consider each and every day, and yet there are so many other things that work their way into our lives dragging us down. Each day as I consider what to write I struggle with what topic is at the top of my mind. Some days it is easy, some days it is not so easy. Today it was easy not because it was evident, but because the negativity is evident. I see so many people fighting with the moments as Christmas comes upon us that the true meaning, of joy and goodwill, is sometimes lost.

It is important not just in this season, but in all seasons to focus on the positives in life, and realize that there is always something to be thankful for, even when it seems darkness has fallen upon us. As despair begins to fall perhaps we should consider the message of "It's a wonderful life" and know that you are special as it was said "Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?".

We all leave such a mark on the world, make your a good mark, and realize the best that life has to offer, each and every day, no matter what...

Sleep sweet, love , and live, just live, each and every day.

The sun sets on another day...

While looking at a series of items today I talked to several people who were over the top about life. In their jobs they were overly ambitious and seriously passionate about not just the big things, but the little things as well. This made me smile as I spoke to them and consider just how serious we should not be when dealing with other people. Perhaps we need to be seriously unserious, and in the process talk more, judge less, laugh more, overthink less, and really really just enjoy the moment instead of dreading the seconds.

Too many people stress about the things they cannot control, and in the process age themselves to a point no one wants to get to, so just stop it. (Why not?)

So as the sun set son another day, take a moment and take stock, what do you really have to be serious about, and what do you think you could actually do more effectively if you just stopped worrying. The results might surprise you.

Sleep sweet, love life, and smile all you can, then smile some more...

The sun sets on another day..

...and that day ends. Not with a bang, or a whimper, it ends and a new day begins.

So how was today, was it amazing, simply wonderful, fun? Or was today just another in a series of days that seem to never end, nor ever begin?

Not sure, perhaps you need to consider how great a gift today is, and that however you approach today, at least you have today, and should not let is be any less than superior.

I watched a movie recently that was a fun little uplifting item that focused on this point. When the negative person in the movie focused on how many bad things could happen, and how today could be an end to all the good the hero just replied with passion "Then I better make the best of today".

Shouldn't that be our motto every single day? Why not try to make the best of today? Why not make a silk purse out of a sows ear? Why do we spend so much time looking for the bad, that we overlook the good in our lives, and somewhere think the grass is greener somewhere else?

I find myself every day with a challenge, and the solution is always to try to make fun out of things that are less than fun, passion out of despair, and excitement out of, well, less than exciting things.

The world would be easier of people could just see beyond the moment and into the big picture that makes them all complete, and maybe then, they would see the day as what it is, just amazing.

So as the sun sets on another day, don't miss the sunset, don't miss the moment, but instead grab on, hold on, and make it your moment, and what will follow is every single one after and perhaps the best that it can be.

Sleep sweeet, love life, and live your moment, each and every day.
