The sun sets on another day...

Today was filled with interesting and exciting people from a little bit of everywhere. At several points I discussed life with people and listened to their views on life, people and passion. As you can guess, for me passion is a daily driver and I enjoy hearing other people talk about their passions and how they achieve those passions daily. Today I listened a lot, to people at parks, at a farmers market and in particular one store where a person had passion that may well rival mine (Well, maybe). As I listened, nearly enthralled by the points of view on life, a restaurant, an RV park, another business and more I only wished there were more people that could see the world through those amazing glasses. I left that store with a few nice items and a renewed appreciation for people as a whole and this person who made my day a better day. My point is, this person made a choice to be a positive person, and like me, even when the day really is not all that good, finds a way to overcome.

So as the sun sets on another day, I wish for a moment that people could see the world through my eyes and those that see similarly. Perhaps in that moment they would appreciate the time they have, and what they do with it, then make their life a life of passion, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and grab onto someone special, and live a life that dreams are made of...

The sun set son another day...

As the flowers rise from the ground we have seen life once again come to the world (or our part of it) by the grace of the sun, wind, rain and a little bit of luck the green is returning to everywhere. The sky above begs us to ask questions on why. Why are things the way they are? Why am I? Why are we? What purpose ...?

In the end we have a lot of theories, but in the other end (yes the other end) I can only say, it is a good theory. The fact is we should be thankful for every single moment we have, and enjoy them all.

So as the sun sets on another day, let's just sit back and laugh a little, enjoy the eve, and love someone tightly.

Sleep sweet, love life, and to the moon and back...

The sun sets on another day...

Isn't it great the sunset is free? There are so many things in life that are free that I feel we take for granted. I kind word, a warm hug, a moment shared, the beach (unless you are at a really awesome resort) and generally a lot of things that really are seemingly minimal in nature but make our lives better. For some things though, there is a price. The price is sometimes in cash (or credit card, check or otherwise) and sometimes can be taxing on a heart of even a soul.

I have considered this a great deal in the last year as there are decisions in our lives that have a price, and in the end it is up to us to determine the true cost, and tally the books. When we miss a child's play, a price, when we are angry, a price, when we hurt someone we love, a price, and so forth and so on.

Sometimes this price is far to costly to consider, and in the end, sometimes we do not consider that price enough.

So as the sun set son another day, take a moment and realize how wonderful the sunset is, and how the free things in our life can help us move forward and slide away from those costly ones. After all, there are a lot of things in the world that are worth having that cost nothing, like reading 29000sunsets and seeing a new picture each day!

Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy the moments...

The sun sets on another day...

We have all heard many times how still waters run deep, and turbulent waters as shallow, things are as clear as mud, and some water is not fit to drink. We even know you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it serve alcohol at a bar, or something like that. My point is you sometimes have to go beneath the surface to get to the truth. (and find a horse that serves alcohol if you like that stuff)

To us the setting sun seems like a ball of light but if we really saw it, it is a serious bunch of multiplied to the nth degree actions and interactions that we doubtfully could comprehend. That being said, most people are the same. Never assume you know what is going on beneath the surface until all the cards are on the table and you can be sure. Sometimes the boisterous insulting little people are so self conscious that they likely should fade into a hole if they are confronted. Similarly the quiet easy going ones can be a seething force of nature under the hood.

Take your time, get to know people, don't burn bridges and instead listen. If they are out of line, sidestep and move on and remember that: "sticks and stones can break your bones, aimed with angry art. Words can sting like anything, but silence breaks the heart."

So as the sun sets upon another day, get to know people, and know them well like you know yourself, and if you don't know yourself, look in the mirror, introduce yourself, and enjoy the time you have with yourself. It too is good.

Sleep sweet, love life, and feel passion every day, it is worth it...
