The sun sets on another day...

The majestic mountains set in the background as a storm rolls in and closes the view of a sunset. Lightning flashes, and for a moment there is chaos, but out of all chaos there can be order if we want there to be order, at least when it comes to people.

To me it is often amazing how many people can see chaos, talk of chaos, but let chaos happen. Obviously there is nothing we can do about the storm or the weather, or even recovering the sunset for today, but we can enjoy the sunset just as well, give thanks for the time we have, and enjoy a few moments of the day with other people. You don't have to be the rich guy making a difference, nor the poor man trying to change the world, but you can turn chaos to order one moment at a time, just by doing the right thing, and being a good person. It really doesn't matter about other people, let's change our ways, and in the end perhaps the world will change with us.

So as the sun sets on another day, set aside anger, frustration and the petty things that get in our way everyday and try something positive, maybe just be nice to one person, or one hundred, but be nice, and let's try that for a while.

Sleep sweet, love life, and love life some more, no matter what...

The sun set son another day...

It is often funny how people say things and don't know what they said, or even really mean what they said in the first place. When the sun sets, it is always predictable, to a fault really. When  people are involved there is no predictability at all. This can be a super good or super bad thing. That person who is the one you trust may be your next mortal enemy, and the person who sits to the side may turn out to be the one that saves your bottom from just about everything.

It is truly amazing to consider the depth of how simple words effect all of this.A positive may be read as far more than it means, and a negative set aside. On one hand it would be better if we listened more, on the other, it would be better if we said what we meant. After all, if we are creatures of communication, why does communication seem so difficult? It should not be so.

So as the sun sets on another day, consider communicating more, saying what you mean and meaning what you say, and in the end, just maybe we will all be happy. After all, words like "No matter what" should be more than just words...

Sleep sweet, to the moon and back...

The sun sets on another day...er, the rain falls on another day...

Remember the song from Bambi "Drip drip drop little April showers". We see the rain sometimes as an inconvenience, and as something we really do not want to see, it appears to dampen our moods and make us less than productive, but I suggest we see it in a different way. Perhaps we need to see it as the rain is the giver of life, that it makes our trees green and flush, and our grass grow strong (and the weeds too). Perhaps we need to realize that without water there is no life, and that we are part of a huge circle of life that requires this little rainstorm. Perhaps we need to remember, that life without rain would be dry and parched, and life with rain, enjoyable.

I read a quote once "Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… It’s about learning to dance in the rain." and that should apply every day. (Attributed to both anonymous and Vivian Greene) Isn't that the most important way to see life?

So as the sun sets on another day, enjoy the rain, dance a little, and wait for the day soon that you will enjoy the moments in utter greenery and happiness, from the rain that fell today.

Sleep sweet, love life, and be happier than you deserve...

The sun set son another day...

...a breeze blows in the wind, and a moment is passed from one person to the next. In the movie "A walk to remember" the characters learn that time is fleeting and sometimes there is more to life than what can be seen on the surface. It is amazing to consider that two people could fall in love and ones time is finite. Another example of this was in the movie "Phenomenon" where the end statement is not that a person will be loved for the rest of their life, but for the rest of mine. (Loses something in print)

My point is can we all agree and start considering that there are some loves, like my love of the sunset, that are more eternal. Should we consider how deep our love is, and even in the event things are not as good as we expect, understand how deep our love goes or does not go? Is it not the saddest thing in the world to have 2 people involved with each other and one is deeply in love, head over heels, fired up and fiery and the other is "meh" where they can easily walk away, ignore or move to another spot in life with no consideration to anything?

Perhaps this is an odd post, and I want to focus on the positive, as was done in the movies, and just say, "I will love you for the rest of mine" and move on. Perhaps we should all consider that. The reality is, to be love and not be loved, well, it isn't a lot of fun.

Ick, a bad rant.

Let's all move forward in such a positive manner and move full speed ahead.

So as the sun set son another day, consider how well you love, and love how well you love. Trust when you shouldn't, love when you shouldn't and watch the sunset each and every night you can, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love more, and live all your days with the passion of 29000 sunsets, it is worth it.
