The sun sets on another day...

...and why can't we all be on the same page?

A page in life is pretty easy as it is defined by who we are and who we have interacted with in life. So as usual, there are people who have had different life situations, and lived different lengths and, surprise surprise, they just don't see things the same way as we do. Worse, some of them are just not as understanding as they should be, nor do they have any common ground we can talk about.

We can try to see common ground, but still it may elude us. The answer is to be as patient as possible and listen to others so we can learn common ground. Now I am reminded of a line in "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" where Spock and McCoy are talking about death (Since Spock had died) and made the statement that there was no way to relate the experience since there was no common ground. This may be true, there will be some things you just can't deal with like that. If you have no way of understanding, it will be obvious, but in theory, you can get close by listening. (In theory)

So as the sun sets on another day realize we are all different and cannot always see each others points of view, but maybe, just maybe, if we listen, and hear, and take a moment to make it right, we can understand each other and find a way to move forward in life.

Sleep sweet, love life, and live life to its fullest as if there was no tomorrow, no matter what...

The sun sets on another day...

Each of us lives within the constraints of the walls we build. To me it is amazing how high these walls can become. I know politicians are all talking about walls, but the walls they are considering pale in comparison to the ones we build to protect ourselves. So consider, why build these walls to begin with? Well, many people do it out of fear, fear or mistakes, the wrong thing, each other and a lot more. Some people do it for no particular reason, just to be alone with themselves. Why do you build your walls? Something from the past? A fear of the future? All I can be sure of, is the walls do not serve good purpose, not as good as we think,

So as the sun sets on another day, let's consider looking closely at our walls and maybe just maybe, knock a few down...

Sleep sweet, love life, and live it, don't hide from it...

The sun sets on another day...

Well, I hope it did. Today in my haste I was running a little late to a wonderful sunset. Lo and behold I hit every light, and then as I got to the location, I was following a "bug" at well below the speed limit and missed the final moments.

Although this is how road rage happens, and can often lead to bout of hysteria, strange nights, small tactical nukes being launched by strange people in small countries, and minor dictator uprisings, I was not fazed and my friend and I got a few good pictures of the evening (The one above was yesterday, but the new ones will be cataloged and used). That being said, I need to make sure I have just a little more time to make it where I need to be and not spend the day doing other things.

Sometimes life is just like that. Even if you plan something comes up and pulls the rug out from under you, but it is not the end of the world and the true test of any person is how they handle the rough times, not how they handle the easy peasy coco puff moments in life. As I did this evening, take a breath, say a few choice words in your head, then file them away, enjoy the moments you can, and be happy.

So as the sun sets on another day, take it easy, plan ahead, and give the funny people in life some clown paint, then move on and have fun.

Sleep sweet, love life, live for passion, and find a little to make you happy...

Sometimes you need to enjoy the moment. Being quick does not usually give us the satisfaction we deserve as we progress in life, instead it teases our hearts and souls with the promise of "more". It is not a bad thing to want more, as long as you are balanced and sometimes more is really good.

Slow down, take your time, and enjoy life. Every moment of it, I think you will find it is worth it.

So as the Sun sets on another day, take your time and enjoy every moment you can, then enjoy some more.

Sleep sweet, love life, and live it every day...
