The sun sets on another day...

It starts in the morning, first a wave of light, slowly rising, a spark that becomes a fire, and a fire that becomes a flame. The sky ignites with light, far more intense than can be believed until all that exists is revealed by its illumination. It folds us, envelopes us with warmth and caresses us with power and humility. The day passes and we are safe in the light. As time wanes, slowly the light fades until we see the colors attack the skies, fighting for every moment, holding on with every passing second, trying, yearning to be alive still, and not to fade.

Perhaps this is true for each day, but perhaps it too is true for us, a spark can start it all, and the passion of a flame follows, no matter what.

So as the sun sets on another day, find the passion of your light, and never let that flame fade. Hold on, and keep the time until the end, and be a keeper of passion, for all time.

Sleep sweet, love life, and believe in the passion each and every day...

The sun sets on another day...

We consider...

We really don't have a choice but to consider each night. Consider our days, our nights, and all the in between.

We hope that we will see hope spring from everyone, but pray it will spring from our family, our loved ones, our friends.

We hope that our days will turn out right, and even if we don't think today is right, we hope tomorrow is right for us all.

I hope all of this each and every day, but I also believe in me, and I take more than hope with me each day, and I want everyone who reads this to do the same. Instead of hoping, take action, be that person, the best person you can be. Be the person people see stumble, but never fall. Be that person who people believe in, and more. Be the best, so others can follow in your example, and in the end, the world will be a better place.

So as the sun sets on another day, trust, believe, and hope, but be part of the solution and do more than just hope, be a force for change, and a force for good, no mater what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and smile every day...

The sun sets on another day...

I remember when I was a child in the fall in Indiana gong to the maple tree farms and seeing how maple syrup was collected, boiled down, and made into a sugary sweet treat as either candy, sugar, or a topping for breakfast. It was always crisp and cool outside, and always a treat on a those chilly days. The times in my life were bittersweet, but the moments like this amazing and a way to focus on the truly good things in life.

As we walk through another day take a moment and consider a positive childhood memory. Consider the feel of the air, the taste of something sweet, the sounds that made you happy, the smell of excitement. Now hold onto that moment and make it a part of today and every day.

It is easy for many to remember the bad, but let's remember the good of our past and take the feelings forward, making them part of an even better moment for now, tomorrow and beyond.

So as the sun sets on another day, consider the happiest times in your life, commit them to the forefront of your memory. Don't focus on the bad, and instead believe in the good, the positive, the powerful and in the process build a happier day from a happy day, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love candy, and enjoy life every day, to the moon and back, and the stars beyond...

The sun sets on another day...

It is always interesting when someone personifies an inanimate object, well, it is usually interesting I should say. This morning while I listened to a talk radio show and watched the sun rise over a desolate area in the highway I was amused to hear a host talk about campaign supporters as groups that follow like the flowers do the sun. The reason this amused me is perhaps I have high hopes for people, their lives, their passions and their pure intellect. As the host explained his statement though, I found myself seeing some of his point, though I have more faith in people. (Yes, that has cost me a few pains from being too trusting.)

What I think he missed is we do not have 2 or 5 or 10 suns, we have 1, and it is the most prominent thing in the sky, and to follow the sun is to follow life itself, so though I see the point, I think following the sun like a flower is not so bad if you know the way to be the only way to life.

(wow, there are about a hundred ways to read that)

Anyway, after watching an amazing sunrise and an amazing sunset today all I can say is it is not so bad to follow your passion, follow those things that are important in life, and make a difference by showing others the direction of the sun. Hmm, good idea, at least in theory.

So, as the sun sets on this amazing night, and the puffy clouds are lit by scarlet hues ever deepening as the sun sets, lets consider following happiness, and finding our way to be happy, each and every day.

Sleep sweet, smile, and enjoy the evening!
