The Sun sets on another day…
As I Drive through life, which I seem to be doing a lot, I find that the world is a smaller place only because we let it be. The world is actually fascinating amazing and wonderful. There are a tremendous number of things we can learn from each and every place that we visit.
Depending on where we are this can be very subtle or very intense. If you are in Kentucky and go to Ohio or West Virginia or Pennsylvania the differences are subtle, sometimes not even noticed. If however, you are going to another country like Germany, France, or Italy, you may find the entire culture very very different.
When you are doing so it is important to remember that everywhere on this planet we have several things in common. Believe it or not we are all one race. We all have the capability of love. We all have the capability to hate. We also have an amazing number of different items that we have in common that can make us better or worse individuals. One thing I feel we always have in common is our sunrises and sunsets and our constant fascination with such. No matter where I have been in the world, wherever there is a good place to take a picture of the sunset there are people standing, sitting, watching and enjoying the colors the sunset and sunrise provide us all. It is a spectacle that we all have in common and something that we can always relate to regardless of our language barriers. Even when in a country where I do not speak the native language I have been able to share a wonderful sunset with a stranger simply because we both saw the beauty that was there.
So as the Sun sets on another day let us all take a moment and remember we are all of one race, we are all one people, and though we may have differences in religion, politics, and a myriad of other strange things, We can all appreciate the sunrises and sunsets in our life.
Sleep sweet, love life, and as you look up on the moon and stars know that someone else is wishing on that same spectacle with you and hold the moment tightly and love it till the end of time…
