The sun sets on another day…
Today will be a strange bit of almost wisdom!
Every once in a while a day can pull you down so far you wish you could reach your shoelaces and pull yourself up. It can be difficult. Sometimes it feels like there is no safe haven, and no one in your corner. Don’t worry, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is not a train. There are always friends, family, and special people who will be there for you no matter what. The trick is to find those people, treat them right and hold onto them. Don’t let them fade away, let them know they are important to you and be open with them always.
The root of our evil is often our pride. We think we are so strong and we can easily handle anything, and in the process, we become overwhelmed with some more challenging situations. To that end, trust, is difficult, but necessary for any of us to survive, so you should trust, and in doing so make good things happen when life is tossing you bad things. Easy right? Not really. Too often it is hard to trust, and harder to continue trusting. When you give someone your trust, you become open to them. Unfortunately people sometimes do dumb things, and it ruins your trust, your ability to trust, and the ability to make good decisions. Being ruined is just no fun. I believe you can keep that trust if you move past you past (fun huh?) and communicate more.
More to the point, each of us are individuals, but each of us can make a decision to trust and take that chance, even when we know we perhaps shouldn’t. Trust, live, and find the way to recharge when you need help. Call you friend when you are at the ragged edge, talk to them. Feel more, trust more, be alone less.
I remember in the movie “Crocodile Dundee” Paul Hogan was talking about why people needed psychiatrists and said “Hasn’t she got any mates?”. IT would be easier if we all would just trust and talk to each other. Right?
So as the sun sets on another day, let’s hold onto those people we trust, perhaps trust some new people, and love the moments, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, trust in the right things, and make every moment a special day…
Happy 17th.
