The sun sets on another day…
There are many people in life that we pass by and never seem to know. As we walk our days we often forget the clerk in the store, that man holding the bag of dog food waiting patiently in line, the pretty woman holding the Darth Vader doll, and a host of service employees that most people expunge from their minds like the torrent from a downspout in the storm. It is sad to think that any of those people could touch your mind, release your fears, engage your heart or release a part of your soul. Too often we are just passengers looking for a train to ride, not realizing that a gentle soul does not advertise, and a passionate soul sometimes advertises too much. In my opinion we need to listen, learn, and listen some more.
There are times we just know someone is passionate, and that of course can stoke a serious flame, or create a friendship to last a lifetime, or perhaps we will walk by and miss for a moment. My rather hidden point is that we should be always looking out for the next person who is fun, amazing and exciting and keeping them close if we can, no matter what.
So as the sun sets on another day, tip your waiter, laugh with your cashier, hug that person in the checkout lane, get hit by an umbrella, laugh a little, then wash, rinse and repeat.
Sleep sweet, love life, and laugh heartily, makes people wonder what you know about them…
