The sun sets on another day…
Ten million dollars sits on your desk, how do you count it? One hundred Million is now on your desk, how big is it? You are given the job of present, where do you start? You have the power of an exploding sunset, what can you do with it? You now live forever and a day, how long is that?
We often ask ourselves questions we can’t easily answer. Those questions can sometimes be quite difficult as we have no point of reference. How many people have counted 10 million dollars? Not many, would it fill a room? or a briefcase?
Years ago I did a management exercise on how much was a plunger. The prices were all over the place since most people didn’t buy them often, if ever, they just had them or didn’t pay attention to the cost.
So when we think about “forever”, do we really understand the depth of forever? Do we know how we feel, and how we should approach such? When we say, “we love you forever” can we really understand the concept? I think some people say the words, some people believe in forever, and some people actually see forever. If we can, we can see things changing yet unchanging, and in the process understand we are part of a much bigger world than we think we are a part of and we are special, forever.
Funny huh? No matter what we are special forever.
So as the sun sets on another day, think about those things that are seemingly immense, and in the process, feel a little smaller, but a lot larger in this wonderful thing called life. As you do so, realize you are the only you, and you are special, each and every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and dream big dreams…
