The sun sets on another day…
Today I looked outside and saw a day that could have been made in a picture book. The clear sky was garnished with the reflections of the bright blue water and subtle yet powerful waves lightly lapped at the golden near perfect sand beaches. If you could ask for a moment, this could have been it as temperate air was supplemented by a light breeze that tickled my neck, and played with the chimes hanging from the house.
I took a second her and watched the sky, and the squirrels jumping from tree to tree, and found a moment of peace. It was a deep breath.
I can hope each person who reads this poor little series of pages and thoughts had a similar day today. I ran numbers this year recently and there are well over 1000 people who browse this site from time to time, and as we approach 2 million hits, I smile and hope that maybe you smile with me occasionally. (Or maybe you like to laugh at me, or hopefully you just like the sunsets)
So as the sun sets on another day, remember to take days like mine today, and enjoy them with gusto. Enjoy those special moments for yourself, enjoy them for others, enjoy them just for the joy of it, but enjoy them, no matter what.
