The sun sets on another day…
As the sun sets in the evening sky we see people drawn closer to each other drawn by the fantastic colors and the inherent need for family and friends. It is in moments like these that we find that somethings we have in common in common: the love of friendship, the love of family, and the love of enjoyable evenings.
This weekend I have seen family and enjoyed every moment. I have seen tired moments and excited moments and enjoyed all of them equally. When you are with family there is usually no greater positive.
I have said many times as well that there are friends that are as close as family and they too should be counted as special when spending time with them.
We must always make sure that those people know how important they are to us. We must always make sure that we show them how important they are as well.
A few years ago one of my children corrected me because I was on my cell phone and they asked if they were not important enough for my time. I have found over the years that my child pointed out an obvious truth: we should always pay attention and show the proper respect to our family and friends.
This weekend I have done everything possible to be completely unplugged and stayed that way so that my family would know how important they are to me. My message to all of you reading is to try to do the same. Put down the cell phone set aside the computer and make one on one time with family and friends no matter what.
So as the sun sets on another day it is of no surprise that I think family and friends are so important because with family and friends you can have the best days and the best sunsets that anyone can expect. Tomorrow, as a new day blossoms, and I am watching the wonderful musical musings of a very special person I hope that all of you find a way to happiness as well. Remember your family remember. your friends. and remember that you are special each and every day.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy the moments….
