The sun sets on another day…
The sun is quite a ways from the earth. So far that even light takes minutes to arrive, that is quite a distance. Have you ever considered though how far we travel in our lives?
We go and go and go and go, steps per day are counted and now we will know exactly how far we go, but how do we measure ourselves, is it by the distance we travel or by the quality we have in between. It is a long way to go on vacation in Brazil, but did you have a good time? It is a long way to Australia, but did you learn more about who you are, and who you want to be? So, you went to France, how great was it?
My point this fine clear evening that is cold as ice, well, actually colder, is that we need to take a few moments and and enjo our way as well as travel it. What good is 10,000 steps a day if they go nowhere? What point is there to traveling if the travel is in a circle? I know, I know, too many questions.
So as the sun sets on another day, as you walk your 10,000 steps, drive your hundred miles, fly across the world, learn along the way. Open your eyes and see more than what is on the surface and work towards something even better. In fact, find a way to see all you can, enjoy all you can, and go farther every day. Don’t believe it can be done? I have a friend that takes a picture each day, and when he does it is sometimes new, and sometimes something close that is froma different point of view. Be like he is (Even if he doesn’t know it) and see past the mundane, and into something more for everything, no matter what.
