The sun sets on another day…
The sun sets as the clouds close in for another day. The cool air clashing with the warm sun for the last time today, the briskness of the eve closing in, and still we are warm with the thoughts of our day and our lives.
…or we should be. You know, 29000 is a good number because when I set it up, it is the number of sunsets an average person will have in their life. 29000, over 79 years, a hop skip and a jump in life, but also a moment in life we should consider as we move forward simply because there can be no surety, no moment of life left untouched.
Depressing, yuck.
How about this:
Every day is awesome, er, no, sounds like a not so kids movie movie.
How about this, perhaps we have today, perhaps we have a few, a few more, but we have no guarantees. We have nothing but right now, this moment, this very moment, no this one, it is all that exists. The past has faded and the future is not set, so what do you want to do right now right this second? Stop waiting, stop putting it off. Move forward, find a way to be happy. If you want to take someone with you, do it, but you have to take yourself first and find that one way to be happy.
Yeah, I like that better.
So as the sun sets on another, lets find that one thing that makes us happy, and if it is possible, lets take it to the limit, and enjoy the moments we can, not because there is a limit, or because of tomorrow or yesterday but because today is worth it and so are you. Be that person that loves themselves and make the world a better place by being in it, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live it every day…
