The sun sets on another day…
I played for a while today. Played in the garden, played in the yard, and did some other fun things. I also worked a lot. Worked in the garden, worked in the yard, and doing a lot of other fun things.
Sometimes balance is all we need. Sometimes balance between work and play can allow us to see things more effectively. We cannot set aside work to play all the time lest we never accomplish, but we cannot set aside play all the time to work lest we lose our passion or worse, ourselves. Instead we need to understand that play is as important as work, and we should have, no, we need to have both in our life.
As a younger man I focused far too much on work, and lost my focus to play. It took time to gain this back and realize what I had lost, and I watched my passion return. Balance is key, make it part of your life.
So as the sun sets on another day, think about playing around a little. Maybe play a lot when you work a lot, and make every day a little fun if you can, no matter what.
