The sun sets on another day…
Sunsets come and go at the moment. The skies are unpredictable masses of clouds, the winter time here is often dark and dismal, but I know that far above the sunset will be amazing, even if I can’t see it.
I was meandering around words today and a series of them just fit together. Presented for your review:
Sometimes:
Sometimes the if comes into play
Sometimes the if is in my way
Sometimes a life is pure and clean
Sometimes it shatters us wrong and mean
Sometimes we laugh
Sometimes we cry
Every time we can understand why
Sometimes we’re there to overcome
We will not give up until we’re done.
Funny how inspiration comes from unique places, but the words just seem to flow when I need them.
So as the sun sets on another day, The “If” comes into play a lot doesn’t it? Our entire life seems to be filled with that magic question of “what if”. Maybe we need to inspire ourselves to believe in the what if more often. Maybe, just maybe we can overcome anything, no matter what.
