The sun sets on another day…
I watched sunset from afar as snow fell and the Crimson light Joan beneath the canopy of dark clouds. The entire thing was nearly surreal and beautiful beyond belief.
I get a kick out of people and an even larger kick out of all the things that we face on a daily basis. It’s hard to get across the complexities of the world and even harder to get across do people who aren’t paying attention to them.
I Was watching people this evening as I waited for a sandwich. Over the last year I have seen people have beer and people who are nearly lost in their own minds. I have come to expect a lot of people just not acknowledge anything and instead hide behind the mask and not speak it off. In the service industry this has become fairly evident and for me saddening.
Tonight as a young woman waited on us all at a fast-food location I had hope. The young woman was beyond friendly handheld a cheery attitude and almost playful repertoire with the customers. It was refreshing and it gave me a lot of Hope for return to normalcy.
I don’t expect everything to be perfect right away. I do expect that eventually people remember to care about each other and to be cordial and positive instead of embracing all of the negatives around us. Good night in a little town in the middle of nowhere add an Arby’s that was very busy I was given hope. ( I was also given a really good sandwich and it was yum yum)
So as the sun sets on another day isn’t it time that you were nice? Isn’t it time that we all started being positive and setting aside the waves of negativity that we have built? If we truly are living for today and want to make the best day that we can have we need to let go of the negative and embrace the positives, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and be nice…
