The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was again fantastic but how else could it be? even though the wind was cool and brisk the sunshine was overwhelmingly bright. I found myself enjoying every moment I could be in the sun and especially the sunset.
I find I have theories about everything. well almost everything. I find I have theories about the little slices of a life that make up people. We are the sum of all the things that we have been. Because Of that the more knowledge that we have the more we can be and the more experience we have the more we can potentially understand.
I say potentially because often it is hard to break down all of the important things that happened to us that we overlook. It is even harder to breakdown those things that happened to us that we didn’t even notice because we were paying attention to something else. Here we are in today and we should be living in today, not yesterday or tomorrow.
I believe this very strongly because you can’t make up yesterdays and you can’t bank on tomorrows. That’s a tough one. If you missed yesterday’s opportunity to do something important it is simply gone. Sure you can do it today but you still were unable to do it yesterday. By that same token if you’re looking forward to tomorrow and saying “I’ll get that done tomorrow” you have lost as well. There is a quote that says “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” and I find this is very true because setting anything aside till tomorrow ensures only one thing, it is not done today.
I’ve given a little to think about and I think the big thing walking away from this post is to remember that you can’t make up yesterdays or bank tomorrows and instead you need to live your life right now.
So as the sun sets on another day I think I’m going to keep writing and enjoying myself being involved with other writers , readers, and anyone else who is a lot of fun. You should come along with me if you get a chance and have all the fun you can today, no matter what.
