The sun sets on another day…
It’s funny how the last year has affected us all. we can say for certain that many of us have become unmitigated hermits or responsible recluses they have hidden away from life for far too long. I find myself longing for interpersonal contact beyond the video vision of a zoom call.
Tonight we went to a friend’s business and enjoyed a short few minutes a fun and excitement with people. There was obviously some apprehension but we were one have only three that had not been vaccinated yet and we are scheduled to be vaccinated next week.
There’s something really awesome about interacting with people who like to interact. For me I miss the interactions of book signings the most. Not because the book signing is the best thing in the world but because the book signing might be the best thing in the world. Some are wonderful and some are not but I can tell you that anything is better then being sealed up in your house all the time.
So as the sun sets on another day, it was a good day and for less than 30 minutes it was a good time but at least we were around people and at least we were alive. Find your center and enjoy it, no matter what.
