The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was clear, crisp, and not as colorful as yesterday. Still, it was a good sunset and I enjoyed every moment.
After a very very very good dinner we went for a drive and somehow ended up at Ol Heidelberg for dessert. I am not a big sweet fan but I went in and considered what this cute place had to serve.
I was both surprised and thankful. First a great young lady began helping us. (I wish I knew her name) and we ordered 5 desserts. The order was filled promptly and there was a lot of laughter. As we left I gave our server a decent tip for all her help.
The desserts were terrific and I would recommend anyone who visits Huntsville visit this place for the food and for the sweet treats you end up with. Quite honestly, it was wow! We had 5 different cakes, and each one was amazing. German chocolate, carrot cake, Italian lemon, 7 layer chocolate, and cheesecake were all over the top.
So as the sun sets on another day, sometimes dessert is great, and sometimes it is better than great! Enjoy some when you can, and have fun every day, no matter what.
