The sun sets on another day…
Who turned the lights out? Sunset was quick and as the sun set very early due to time change I smiled at the colors I knew were there, and I smiled more knowing that soon we would be moving back to longer days.
I was talking to a wonderful man today about his weekend. To him it was a weekend where he faced fear while trying to be a good person. This man saw a homeless man on the side of the road. He looked cold and hungry so the man went to a store, got him food and drink, and went back to give it to him. Unfortunately the man was no longer there when he returned so he went down another road, then saw him and turned around. As he turned around in the street a van screeched to a halt stopping inches from his door. He was torn with adrenaline to say the least.
We all have those moments in our life that seem to bring us into reality. Those precious seconds where we suddenly should be no more, or we make a horrible mistake. In this case this person made no mistake, except maybe not looking every way, and only wanted to help people. Not a bad moment.
What is your time that woke you up? What story makes you consider each day as special as it is and makes you realize life is finite. Hold on to it, live it and use it to make you more!
So as the sun sets on another day, it was a good day, and people helping people is super. It is also great to appreciate life and all it gives us each and every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and love life some more…
