The sun sets on another day…
Perhaps someday this image won’t be allowed. Someday it will be gone. If the link is ever gone I hope we can understand why.
December 7th has always put a tear to my eye for several reasons. I was reminded of the many veterans I have spoken to from WW2 that relayed story after story of the war, and the horrible things they faced. I was reminded of the idea that we sold metal to another country, and it was sent back to us at Pearl Harbor. I was reminded of the lives lost on many sides, the end of the war, and the things people did in the name of safety.
Like many times in history this day is now clouded with bias and all I want to say is remember today those who gave their lives for the United States of America, and those who came back war-torn and scarred, to a new country born out of a nuclear age.
Don’t let this fade away, remember.
So as the sun sets on another day, it is a day filled with amazing possibilities, and a day we should remember forever. It is a tough week anymore, but I know that the sun will set on another day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live it…
