The sun sets on another day…
I enjoy fake sunsets because they are so unpredictable. A fake sunset occurs when there are clouds on the horizon that become a sort of projection screen as the sun is going down. When it happened just about anything will appear on the horizon. The resulting pictures are fantastic, and the sunset last a while longer than the sunset is supposed to last. Usually as a pancake on the horizon.

4 minutes after sunset…
Funny how things aren’t always as they seem. Sometimes we see it, believe it, and it is not really there. In this case it does no harm at all.
I have to start this post with the words I am not a victim. I am usually the one stupid enough to help people when I shouldn’t, do things that are a little over the top, and talk or act when I should sit in a corner and watch a little longer. I find I do that more often. (The reasons are complicated but sitting in the corner can be just as bad for someone like me who is bigger than most)
I have heard the words “Andrew Said” a lot in my life. Sometimes it is really about things I said or did, sometimes, well, it isn’t. In ancient times (Because I am getting ancient) I tried to help someone and got a little too involved and suddenly I was in the middle of a accusatory conflict. IT appeared I had said a bunch of things to several people that were causing grief and contacted other people as well. I got an interesting phone call (back when there were phones and not cell phones) that told me I should watch what I was saying. I was calm and finally explained I did not know them, and had no idea what they were talking about. (This of course made them mad, but it was ok) In the end we met and got someone else involved who admitted they had used my name because I was involved. I was an easy target because I was involved in the group and always “larger than life”. I didn’t really know where all the angst was coming from. Yuck. This never did really get better, but I learned a lesson. People are ready to believe anything easily if they see it or think it is true.
Yes, this is a big bunch of generalities so I don’t end up pointing out someone who for all I know might be dead, but you get the point.
Look at the world now. There is a trial going on between 2 actors that we will never be able to see, or know (or smell, ewww) the truth, but it sure looks like it is real. As with the picture, looks can be deceiving.
In the end it is up to us to realize something is wrong and find out what is real and what is not. There is another choice, if it doesn’t affect us, distance a little and determine how you should act. Does it really matter to us if 2 actors are fighting it out? Why let it attack our day? (and lots of other things fall in that same vein)
Yeah yeah. A bunch of silliness tonight. Just remember, sometimes everything you believe may not be what you think it is. Pay attention.
So as the sun sets on another day, sunset tonight was just amazing. Even though the reflections weren’t necessarily real, they were still pretty. I hope you find a path to your truth, and find passion each day. Along the way, find a little peace, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and pretty…
