The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was clear, bright, and stunning. As I left dinner I watched the sun pass over the western sky and thought of how pure it was, and how happy it could be.
If you read anything I do you know it is all over the place. I write in many genres with an idea always in my mind and a feeling there is a new challenge to face, always something else.
I sit here now on the edge of another walk to a new area with multiple books open and in progress, and multiple projects in progress. How you ask? Easy. I am pushed to write short stories and passages a great deal. I do this from many perspectives and in doing so as I finish I add each one to a folder to group them for later review or addition to an anthology. Today I was sauntering through my folders and realized that I now had 15 short stories about happiness.
This could mean anything. It could mean I have a lot more to write or it could mean I have a first pass at “A Slice of Happiness” and stories to uplift and inspire. It does mean that I have been writing a lot and need to finish some projects. With that in mind I will continue to focus on the 3 primary in my way, and work harder to close more.
With that thought in my head I know that happiness is good, a flip side of fear and an elation in its own right. What makes you happy? What builds your faith in yourself? What makes you feel the way you can, and should? Happiness is something that cannot be just a word, it has to be more. It is more.
So as the sun sets on another day sometimes things just sneak up on you. As they do, you just have to smile and roll with it all. As you do, remember the world is a fantastic place if you just see it as such. Make your world a good one every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, live hard, and love even harder…
