The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was super and made the sky light up as interesting shards of color scattered across the sky. I smiled at the moment, and kept moving.
The last several days have been quiet and cloudy. As I have decorated out by the road I have added numerous lights. The problem is they are all solar. It’s hard to run a cord to the road and it would take three or four extension cords tied together to do so. This has always pushed me to do solar but tonight after darkness fell, I only got to have Christmas lights for about an hour. Oops.
There’s a light that shines all the time. While some people may see that hour as far too short, I’m sitting here thinking how beautiful the lights were for just a little while. As pepper and I did our nighttime training we walked up and down the driveway at least 15 times and in doing so we both got to enjoy the lights and it was fun. Maybe solar is the best choice or maybe it isn’t but all I can say is that any shimmering light in your life for only a moment is far better the no lights in your life at all.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you find some good light and I hope they last a little bit longer. Perhaps you can take a moment to appreciate them either way, no matter what.
