The sun sets on another day..
Home again, home again, jiggety jig. I went to the beach to get a picture of the sunset and instead got a picture of the hills in the distance and the sun setting slowly in the Western sky. The problem was the sun was already behind the hills so the picture was just okay.
I think it’s funny when you consider certain foods give you strange dreams. I am wondering what type of craziness will pop into my mind tonight after eating Skyline Chili in Ohio.
The last time I had Skyline Chili I was a sale that night my visions monstrosities fighting in a vacuum. The octopi like animals slung asteroids at each other over a jet black horizon and as the asteroids slammed into each other sparks flew and sometimes explosions were released from trapped lithium, sodium, and various oxygen compounds. I have never turned this into a story but remember it clearly because of the blasts of colored lights were each dictated by the element being ignited. I also remember the massive eyes on the ends of threaded tentacles gazing into the night to pick their targets carefully. The six-eyed beasts had twenty four tentacles braided from a central core. Each monster seemed hell bent on destroying the others and it was only a few minutes before the dream ended that I realized I too was one of these beasts and my perspective of the world changed as I opened all six eyes and saw all around me. I was not quick enough to sling an asteroid.
What foods can make you dream differently? It appears that Skyline Chili has this effect on many people, have you had it? I hope your dreams were as fun as mine.
So as the sun sets on another day I giggle and anticipation wondering what tonight’s few hours of sleep will bring. All I can hope is that I’m in this dream and get to have fun long before end of the dream. I hope you have an amazing evening too and dream sweet dreams, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and sleep sweet again…
