The sun sets on another day…
Sunsets are now becoming the wonderfully fantastic Michigan treasures they should be. As spring rears its head we can only be amazed at the color and light show given to us.
A quick question:
An easy question. I know it will be strange but I am trying to see the numbers at the start and decide an approach.
I did want to take a second here and think about how we define ourselves and our successes. I was in a discussion this week and a recurring theme kept coming up that tied the idea of success to how much money and financial freedom we have. I considered this for a short time and in some ways it is true, but at the center of it all is the old question: does money buy happiness?
Personally, I think money can give us freedom to do some things but it in no way equates with happiness. I believe that a child’s laugh is far more emotion evoking than a bar of gold in the bank, but I know opinions vary. I believe that finding someone who loves you as much as you do them is more fulfilling, but perhaps I am jaded.
This about it for a moment, and what defines your happiness and beyond.
So as the sun sets on another day, it was a good day for me, I hope you enjoyed yours as well and found a path to an adventure. Each day is an opportunity for fantastic experiences, and I think every one is worth having. Be the best person you can be every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live…
