The sun sets on another day…
Sunset made me smile even though I didn’t see it. Fantastic moments surrounded me as authors engaged each other in playful pattern and exciting elations.
Tonight I was at Once Upon a Book once more and engaging with fantastic people. There was a small difference in that I was actually nominated for an award this year. Sorry, I didn’t win but the author that did was very fantastic and I’m glad they won.
As I watch people I see them in the different safety zones where they exist. Some people want to be alone and Fade Into the background, some people want to be engaged and come to the Forefront, and some people are a thousand ways in between and they too are safe and comfortable.
I’m going to say something that many people won’t agree with. If you are in your comfort zone and you feel good about you, that’s just fine. If the person next to you is overly outgoing and makes you a little uncomfortable, find your comfort zone and let them have theirs. We all find our way in different manners and we all do everything we can to be the most amazing person that we can be for ourselves. Be comfortable in you and if you need to, find a way to grow.
At the same time, never forget that you are not alone. You are special and deserve other people. You are special and need to have more to grow. You don’t have to have a big group of friends, but it is good to have a friend.
So as the sun sets on another day, find a way to your comfort zone and remember that it’s yours to use as you please, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and be comfortable…
