The sun sets on another day…
The rain fell so hard during sunset that I wondered if the world would become a whitewashed mess before me. I looked outside and couldn’t see beyond the porch as white sheets of torrential rain fell upon the horizon until darkness closed in and made it all invisible.
I got a kick today out of something that was said on a movie I had watched many times. The question was asked of the first character what would you do for someone you loved? The return question is an important one, what wouldn’t you do for someone you loved?
As I said here today thinking about everything and more I wonder that same question. I have faced it many times but it hits hard each time. If you have to place limits on your love, what is your love except limited. If you say the words I will not do that, within reason, is what you’re feeling as real as you think?
It’s an intense question. At the end of it all there are many more questions that come up the biggest one being what would you live for. I realize I’m mixing another movie quote in here but I want people to think about that important question. So many would state that they would die for someone but in real life don’t you want to live for someone? Don’t you want to create that situation and that powerful prowess that announces to the world I live and this is why. It might be a little sappy but it’s true.
I know, I know. As I sit here writing about my first characters and the love they share I get lost in the mushy parts.
So as the sun sets on another day, what would you do? Ask yourself the question what wouldn’t you do and change the world to make it better, more exciting, and full of passion, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live hard…
