The sun sets on another day…
I didn’t get to see much of sunset, but I still enjoyed it. The sky was near perfect for a moment and then lost behind signs and trees. Still, it was a lot of fun.
It has been a long time. I won’t say how long because my little sister might hit me with a tree. It’s funny how I still call her my little sister and we have both aged. I still remember the first day that I saw her, wrapped in a pink blanket that my mother says was white. She was cute, she was little, and it was my job to protect her.
I will leave it to history to decide whether I did a good job. In some areas I think I did well, in other areas maybe not so much. At the time I seemed so much older but now it is near nothing. I will still spend my days protecting her for what time I have. Isn’t that what life is all about?
To me the big thing is that we faced trials and tribulations beyond belief, and we were children. In today’s society what we went through would easily be considered heinous, but we were endured and we overcame. It is made both of us who we are today. OK I’m coming let me plug my phone in
Happy birthday little sister. Keep being you.
So as the sun sets on another day, it’s been a long year but it’s almost over now in time for a new adventure. I hope everyone enjoys their adventure and has a fantastic day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy the day…
