The sun sets on another day
Tonight Sunset was a little more gray and the colors that have been here for days are now gone. Still, it was a great night and I enjoyed it very much.
In my first anthology of horror short stories I wrote a story called a conversation with death. The story was based on a dream and the dream was overly vivid. When I awoke from the dream I thought everything was real and there was no dream at all. There were significant number of facts and realities that made me consider the possibility of something a little bit odd.
Of course it was just a dream and not real but since then I have had three additional dreams with the same character in the same coffee shop. Each time the conversation is polite and very informative. Unlike the first dream where I asked death to prove himself, my recent dreams have been more conversational and somewhat uplifting in many ways.
The positive is that death is just performing a service and as he does he is come across me as a conversational point for him as well. No I don’t think I’m special or anything beyond anyone else but I do enjoy the discussions and the potentials associated with them.
Have you ever had a dream that seemed real? Have you ever had a dream that was incredibly outlandish but still made you feel a little bit funny inside. I hope you have and I hope you enjoy your moments.
So as the sun sets on another day, I’m dreaming again tonight but maybe it will be blue skies and baby buffaloes. Either way I’m going to have fun. I hope you have fun too and enjoy your sleep, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep living
