The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was a shining spar of crimson light as I looked through the forest, through the trees, to a fun series of moments. It was very subtle, but made me feel amazing.
I almost always get into weird conversations with people. Some more than others. I was talking to someone earlier today about how we get along as people. I’ve written about this many times.
I like to think of people like tuning forks. When you walk into the room and look around there are those that you resonate with right away. There are those that are fine and don’t necessarily resonate but don’t grate on your last nerve. There were also people that are very difficult to deal with before a single word is spoken. This can get better or worse after interaction.
It’s kind of interesting that I have seen this type of discussion for years and today as I discussed this I realized that it has stayed this way for the sum of my life. It’s kind of funny how easy some people fall together and, as your tunes converge, how much better it can be.
Still, as i discussed with this person, I have considered how many times people I am not necessarily aligned with started slowly coming into tune and I in tune with them. It’s not necessarily that we’re in a different it is just that we found a way to coexist well.
With all this in mind I hope that you can take the time to learn about people even when you don’t think you should. Perhaps take a moment to listen, perhaps take a moment to speak, but always be polite and make the day a positive one if you can.
So as the sun sets on another day, keep being amazing. Seek out those people that lift you up. Let them know how wonderful they are. And as you do I hope you find your way to happiness every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and I can’t tuna fish…
