The sun sets on another day…
It was a good sunset, not bright but not gone. It had rained off and on all day but I enjoyed every moment I could.
I solved a problem that was very old in a few minutes today. For many years when I walked by the garden I tripped over several small stumps. When the builders had made my house it was dead center in the middle of a forest of trees. They cut down many trees and as they did so they didn’t always take out the stumps. Many of these trees were only an inch or too thick so in the ground we’re little tiny stumps that you couldn’t see until up close and you always seem to trip over.
For these last several years I have been irritated by them and frustrated a little more. Each time I was out I was always doing something else and after my short irritation I quickly forgot about it or was sidetracked in something more important.
Today I had my small electric chainsaw and cut six small stumps out of the ground. In a moment they were gone and after they were gone I laughed for a minute. It had only taken me about 5 minutes to rid myself of these problems. I just had to do it.
How many times do we end up in the same situation? How many times do we trip over problems that aren’t worth much but irritate us to no end? Where is your chainsaw to make them go away. You may find that it only takes a short time to eliminate your issues and enjoy your day much better. It worked for me on more than just the stumps.
So as the sun sets on another day, those little problems don’t always go away easily. Find a way to get them out of your life and then you won’t trip anymore. Cut the problems and keep your good times, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and brrrrtttt…
