The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was a pinwheel blowing in a wind of sparkles. I laughed and wondered how exciting the sky can be with just a little color.
Yes, it’s that time again. It’s that special time that eventually comes to 29,000 sunsets. It’s time to be shameless. It’s time to be excited. It’s time to talk about slices.
What are slices you say? Well, I have a few book series and I’d like to share them with you right now.
My first published book was A Slice of Passion. This book is a series of poems about near uncontrollable emotion. You know that stuff we call passion. The book was a compilation over quite a time and contains a number of poems. I have been told it’s rather inspiring, i have been told it’s rather sad, I have been told that I must have been rather sad when I wrote it, and I’ve been told that it makes people feel good. I’m not sure what to do with that.
I also want to add Another Slice of Passion. After all, why stop at one when you can do two? This second compilation is much larger and contains far more poems with a special section at the end explaining some of the inspiration that I felt while writing. That way if I’m ever famous someday and some teacher says to analyze a poem, studious children will have a little help by just going to the back of the book. I wonder if teachers will believe that I knew what I was writing when I wrote it?
Next, we have the almost immortal, Five Star Readers Favorite, a Slice of Fear. It is described as a lot of things, but it is a very personal set of fears and to some it might be thoughtful while others might think it terrifying.
Because I said so, I then give you Another Slice of Fear. In this book one story goes over the edge and might cause you some serious discomfort. I wonder what was going on inside my head at the time as I wrote it? I have heard from people directly that after they read the story they put the book down and did not go back.
Finally, I have the last current slice, Yet Another Slice of Fear. Why have two when you can have three? In this particular book I kind of went a bit longer and built up much bigger stories. The Drifter was my most lauded story as many people wrote to me about it and I really need to make a full book based on this short story. I actually have reread it many times and enjoy it every time. Also in this book I found Francis, and she was actually a really fun interaction.
Is this it? No, but this is all of the currently published books. Someday I may release others as I continue to compile content. These others may include: A Slice of Fantasy, A Slice of Happiness, A Slice of Mystery, A Slice of Tomorrow, and A Slice of Life. The last being a compilation of truth and history about me.
The links are there if you’re interested, and it’s OK if you’re not. I would love to share a little bit of me with everyone but I realize that sometimes I’m a lot to take. No matter how you slice your life, i hope you find yourself in a fantastic day, changing the world, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and what a ride…
