The sun sets on another day…
A cliff of clouds hung in the west. I was worried there would be no sunset, no beauty, just clouds again and a gray sky. Sunset decided to take a different path and as the sun broke beneath the clouds there was beauty everywhere painted on an amazing fluffy ceiling now filled with oranges and reds.
Ever get stuck? Today I was stuck in traffic and while I sat there looking at all of the different people I realized it was an opportunity for me to think and react and understand a little more about the world. Sometimes we look at the difficult things we face with, well, difficulty. We get so lost in what’s going on that we don’t realize what’s going on is sometimes better than we think. Change doesn’t come from positive days, it comes from negative ones and sometimes we have to take a step to the side and realize that the world needs to change.
If you ever feel like you’re stuck, maybe it’s time for you to consider a change. Not necessarily because you have to, but maybe because it’s the best thing to do. Being stuck isn’t a good thing, and after my childhood I really expected us to be stuck a little more, usually in quicksand.
So as the sun sets on another day, take a deep breath and if you see something wrong try to make it right. Be a difference and not just another person walking by. I hope you find your strength always, no matter what.
