The sun sets on another day…
Sunset slid across the horizon far faster than it should have, I smiled at the time even as another storm rolled in. Non issues, just another fun day.
My poem for the day:
It’s About You
The sun shines and the bird sings
life goes on and I enjoy the moment
the wind blows and the trees wave
cars drive by and I count them one by one
the waves crash and the fish swim
boats saunter along and I revel in the ripples
time flies and the moments pass
the clock hands turn and time can’t last
the rock sits and never moves
beneath it all life happens
the sun shines and the days go on
time stands still and I still enjoy the moment
So as the sun sets on another day, sometimes verse says more than a whole conversation. I hope you can open your mind and see past the surface, and somewhere in between it may all be about you. Live in the moment all you can, no matter what.
