The sun sets on another day…
The clear skies were impressive. As the sun said in the western sky the colors shimmered and lit up everything in their path. This sunset could easily be called simple beauty but it is beauty nonetheless.
I have often been fascinated by the word “clever”. It implies and says a lot all at once. By pure definition the word means to understand quickly and devise and apply ideas. It can mean far more than that.
Somewhere in the depth of it all we are all clever. We all have the ability to understand and learn. We all have the capability to apply our knowledge and use it in positive and exciting ways. So many set that to the side and get lost in the muck. So many are so sure of themselves that they forget how clever they actually can be.
I have said this many times but open your heart and your mind and learn each day. Become clever and in doing so, change the world simply by realizing that there is a truth out there and often it isn’t what you think it is. Be open to learn and listen to others so that they can understand your patience. Somewhere in the middle it will all make sense.
I’m not stupid. I know that there will be many people who read this and aren’t really sure what I’m saying. That’s OK. How about I just say keep an open mind and a clever mind and leave it at that.
So as the sun sets on another day, the world is clever when it wants to be. Be part of the clever people that live for ideas and concepts that bring us all together. Somewhere in the midst of all of it find your path and make it an amazing one, no matter what.
