The sun sets on another day…
I watched sunset and was fascinated by the combination of mountains and trees and sky. There is little doubt Beauty that I saw, and as night film the mountain air was more than refreshing.
Years ago I traveled a lot. 10 hour plane rides were nothing and the 25 hour plane rides were wicked, but tolerable. One of the things I learned was that eating in foreign countries can have interesting effects on your body. Although I did so from time to time I tried to play it safe so that I could go the places I needed to go and not be sick while I was there.
I found that you had to find things that you can trust. Many times it was great just to be able to take a deep breath of fresh air, clear your thoughts, and determine a course of action. Who did you trust, what do you trust? For me it turned out to be bottled Coca-Cola and fried chicken. Not because I like either more than anything else but more because deep frying chicken gets rid of all the germs and bottled Coca-Cola as some of the highest quality processes in the world, even though it can still eat a nail.
Have you ever considered what is safe to you? What is your bottled Coca-Cola? How often do you need to take a fresh deep breath? Literally or figuratively this is something that we all need to figure out just in case we need common ground we can go to.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you have some safe havens. People and things that you know are safe. Rely on them when you need to and remember that you are awesome everyday, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and where is that polar bear…
