The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was a bit of color on a super night. I laughed and smiled while music played in the background.
After walking from a parking garage that should be called the parking garage in the middle of nowhere, we found the small sign that led to a series of adventures in a store that time forgot. Each room was a testament to something, even if it was a testament to being a testament and between the typewriters, old books, vintage clothing, antique toys, and a host of other items, I found a moment of peace.
It is in the little things that we sometimes find solace, and in those little things we can often see our past or a way to define ourselves better in our present. There wasn’t much that I could take with me today but I did pick up a very old book about words and phrases. It was a good time.
At the end, the enthusiastic and eclectic owner and I talked about communication, people, the news, and dark psychology. I tried to keep the conversation very light and enjoyed the interaction with someone passionate about being passionate.
Sometimes you just have to take an adventure. Sometimes you have to wander down into a basement with a strange sign pointing the way only to find a moment of wonder. Maggy’s Vintage Shop was a fun place in Traverse City.
So as the sun sets on another day, never walk away from a potential adventure and enjoy every moment you can each and every day by embracing life. Be you and in doing so open the minds of everyone around you if you can or listen and perhaps it will be you that learns something new. Have fantastic moments, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and find a way…
