The sun sets on another day…
It was an astonishing assortment of highly charged particles that have sailed the skyline with beauty and amazement. As darkness rolled in across the land I could do nothing but feel good about another beautiful day.
Sometimes things aren’t what they seem. It looks like people find their way apart when in reality they may be finding their way together. Vice versa can be true too, as it looks like people are coming together they are truly finding their way apart. It can be quite confusing, and at the moment that you think you have it figured out, something changes and everything isn’t as it seems.
I really wish there was a guideline for how to be who we are. The definitive guideline for being a being. That would be a good name, but how could you set a guideline on something that changed all the time and that continues to change and will always continue to change. The very idea of it is maddening.
Of course there are good guidelines that take us part of the way, but many of them exclude our very nature and in doing so open up the doorway to misunderstanding and more. I’m not sure that a book could be big enough or intense enough to set a standard that really works.
I am sure there are a lot of people willing to debate me on this and they can give definitive proof that one solution or another works. All I can be certain of is that as I studied I found that most solutions and guidelines expect us to deny our nature. This puts us on a collision course with ourselves. Maybe it puts us on a collision course with others as well because how can we understand someone else going through anything remotely similar to us when we deny our own nature or set it aside in favor of a fad or a misstatement of who we are?
It is strange isn’t it, thinking about being a being and in doing so being a being avoiding being the being that we could be. Say that three times real fast.
So as the sun sets on another day, at the core of who we are is a whole lot of stuff. I hope your stuff is good. I hope life treats you well. Mostly I hope that you enjoy every sunset going forward and beyond. After all, you are special and you make the world unique. Keep being you every day and find your place, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep interacting…
