The sun sets on another day…
Here I sit, one day after Christmas, looking at the sky, and watching the world revolve around us all. There is beauty in the sky as a spattering of clouds becomes a temporary screen for a million million colors. They say there aren’t many colors in a sunset, but as I watched the shades I tend to believe there are more than enough.
It is said that the world was created out of darkness and that chaos became order. It is also said that the world was created out of darkness and in an instant that nobody understands everything exploded and created the galaxies. It is also said that the world was without form and suddenly through chaos everything became as it is. It is also said that a sound shattered the void and created all that is, and that sound became something that we all can resonate with.
Now that we’ve had a history lesson that nobody can confirm I can clearly say that after Christmas sometimes comes clarity. You see the holidays as a whole, Christmas for me, involves a tremendous number of people interacting with magnificently different personalities that sometimes have interesting avenues of resolution when conflicts evolve. What that means is, sometimes it takes some craziness to straighten everything out and when you put a whole lot of crazy in A room, eventually there is order.
This Christmas was full a fantastic fun as children grow up and become more and more animated. A few years ago, it was my children, now it is my grandchildren, and now, people are excited to see how this will turn out. This is particularly true with me as I tried hard but who knows how I did. I did find and do find that as I watch with different eyes now, i see a lot of different possibilities and perhaps a little more. It is amazing how if you go through it a few times, you kind of learn what it’s all about.
Anyway, it’s nice to see you that the world is full of craziness and from that craziness sometimes comes a clarity. With that in mind I hope you had a fantastic Christmas, and I hope if there were conflicts, misunderstandings, raised voices, lowered voices, or just any type of strangeness, that you found a way to see the light and enjoyed every moment on that path.
So as the sun sets on another day, have a super day after Christmas, or should I say it’s super night after Christmas now. Enjoy children, enjoy the moments with your family, and live every day to be the best day that you can have, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and be alive…
