The sun sets on another day…
It was warm outside, but the clouds were heavy and the mists and rain fell often. It was a typical Michigan day in either first spring or eighth winter, whatever this may be.
I find myself feeling inspired today. I was informed about nanopomo, and that was an interesting idea. Someone took the time and put together a poetry month similar to the national novel writing month. I find myself intrigued.
Today I met with a variety of people from around the country who were also inspired. Most of them have great ideas and have the desire and belief to create something that is a little more. I was impressed, more than a little.
It is always awesome when you start talking to people who have like mines or even close to like mines and I found myself feeling good about everything going on and enjoying each moment that I could.
What’s that mean, well it means that I’ll probably be writing poetry for a month on 29,000 sunsets, in addition to my normal posts. As I do so I walk into it with a clear mind and an understanding that poetry is passionate and personal.
If you’re interested, look it up, and be a part. Either that or reach out to me and I’ll put you in touch with the right people. It’s nowhere near as advanced as the novel writing month but it is full of heart and isn’t that what we’re looking for.
So as the sun sets on another day, enjoy your life and enjoy your day and enjoy your poetry. I snuck that last one in. Find a way to be inspired each and every day, and never settle, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep writing…
