The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was subtle, yet I watched with honest admiration and the sky opened before me with color. I laughed, and enjoyed each second.
What are you building your day with? As we wake up each morning we start with a few feelings of either good or bad and we go from there. We can start with some positive wins and successes like making the bed, having a good breakfast, making a few jokes, or just enjoying ourselves or we can go the other direction and worry about the day, worry about our schedule, worry about just about anything even though it hasn’t happened.
As the day goes on it gets either better or worse based on what we take in, but we have the choice. We have the choice and it’s important to remember that as the day passes we are nothing accept what we are building upon. As a person interacts with us we interpret good or bad and make our day better or worse. It’s still our choice. We can listen and learn where we can sit to the side and be overwhelmed by everything around us.
What are you going to do today? What are you going to do tomorrow? Are you going to build on the positives and learn from the people around you or are you going to build on the negatives and let everything continue to crumble on you until there’s virtually nothing left? It’s a tough question but I need you to remember that you have the opportunity of making your day better and better or worse and worse.
So as the sun sets on another day, I’m going to have a great day every day. Today was amazing because yesterday I had so many positives, and today I built on those further, and tomorrow we’ll take it a little further, and I can’t have a bad day if every day is great. Find a way to keep your days great and keep making them better, no matter what.
