The sun sets on another day…
It’s a little bit funny and the sky was beautiful but hazy, because the clouds merge with the water it was almost as though there was no end and everything fused and all was right with the world. As the sun set later, the sky was still hazy, but the colors were awesome.
Sometimes it’s hard to see. Sometimes what we think is real is illusion. Sometimes we need to pay more attention and assume less. Sometimes we just need to watch and see and even then it can be hard.
When I was a kid and even as an adult I enjoyed puns and mind jokes. There’s always something hidden in the words and often there’s more hidden that’s right in front of us. All we have to do is open our eyes and see what’s there.
For example, you’re sitting in a room with an all southern view, a bear walks by. What color is it?
Or maybe, the detective paid close attention to the crime scene. There were no tracks leading up to the body or away from the body, but he was still quite dead. As the detective looked at the crime scene closely he realized the pack on the man’s back was indirectly the reason for his death. What was in the pack?
All we have to do is pay attention especially in today’s world and we can see a little more. No more assumptions, no more assumed truth, just reality and what we know or an admission that we don’t know. It’s often hard to see but if we open our eyes everything is there.
So as the sun sets on another day, it’s hard to see what’s real, but you are. Keep being real and keep showing everyone your reality. Make every day a choice to be better, and open your eyes along the way, no matter what.
