The sun sets on another day…
A beautiful sunset splashed the sky with golden hues. The oranges were gone and instead the sky shimmered with white and gold until the sun fell far, then red and orange sprayed the buildings around me. It was intense.
Sometimes all we need is a little help. It seems as though that’s an easy statement but often pride gets in the way or other items that keep us from resolving the issues we need to resolve. With that in mind I hope that you can reach out for the help you need when you need it.
I know, I know, that may be crazy talk. It’s really hard to ask for assistance when you feel down or out. There is a light though, and if you just ask I think you would be surprised at the people who could help.
A long time ago I was very cliche. After a difficult time and some interesting communication pathways and bad life decisions I was living in a van, but not by the river. Unsure of where to go or what to do I found myself alone, in a lot of ways.
I didn’t reach out to anyone or push back on any decisions being made for me. The end result was difficult. Anyway, after a short time someone found out and offered me a temporary place to stay. Life just kept getting better after that. I could have made it a lot better if I had just asked for help.
Don’t be like I was. Reach out, ask for help, don’t let pride or anything stop you. Help others if they reach out and you are able, but let’s make the world just a little better.
So as the sun sets on another day, sorry for annoying stories r us. I just was thinking about a time long ago, and it made sense to talk about it. Keep being awesome and make a difference to you, no matter what.
