The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was cloudy, but I hoped for far more soon. The sky was full of light and life, and all I can say, is it made me smile. As darkness fell, I could only feel good about life as I watched the numerous clouds slide by and make the world look amazing.
Michael Caine makes me smile because he has spent over 50 years married to the same woman and is not tied to the rattling rumble trap that usually is reflective of Hollywood marriages. He is always done a great job on each movie he has worked in and one of his earlier movies was the Muppet Christmas Carol.
You would think it would be a little silly but they spent a lot of time in this production making it true not only to the book but to the feelings of it all and the only change was the replacement of many characters by Muppets. Those Muppets represented a significant number of different items including the three ghosts who visited and Marley and Marley. The idea of a semi musical was interesting as many versions of A Christmas Carol carry that particular theme along, but it worked and Michael Caine not only made it better he made it great.
I loved how personalities rolled across and I loved also how interesting the show was however I have to warm that even though it may have been produced for children as well it can be a little dark and foreboding for young children. Take care in watching such but watch it nonetheless. I hope you take the time to do so before Christmas.
So as the sun sets on another day, I’m enjoying this little rabbit hole of movies and more and kind of lost in the thought that we should all strive to live with Christmas in our heart. I hope you find the happiness you deserve and perhaps find a little more excitement, no matter what.
