The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was wildly beautiful in the sky stayed orange far too long. A few days ago everything was covered with ice, but now it was back to jest a little bit to the side have a wintery wonderful day. I appreciate the sunset every day and I never know what to expect except beauty.
OK, so I play a game. Yes, it’s a computer game. I don’t play against machines. I also occasionally get on social media. It happens. My goal is just to see what’s going on in the world and sometimes I’m disappointed.
Sometimes when you’re communicating with people online there are things that are put out there that are just posted to create an emotive response. Whether it’s a reply in a game or something a little more insidious in some type of social media post the words are arranged not to teach or to communicate but instead to create anger and unrest. It’s a little strange.
I find myself occasionally inflamed by such posts only to realize that it would be silly for me to reply and to step aside and just let things happen. That usually makes it kind of funny. Mostly because people are looking for a response and I don’t give it to them. Maybe we should all start doing that.
There is enough angst in the world without trying to fire people up. There is enough, perhaps there’s too much, perhaps there should be less.
Take a deep breath, and just let it go. Take a deep breath and even if it’s something that you know is wrong step aside and don’t give in.
So as the sun sets on another day, I think I’m going to just relax. As I do the world will be a better place for just a moment simply because the world is a good place. There’s a lot of bad things that happen there’s a lot of good things that happen too. Find a path and make the world yours, no matter what.
